Posh Pooch has 50 "hotel rooms" in several different sizes for our overnight guests. These rooms were designed with your pet's privacy in mind, so each one is fully enclosed (unlike most chain link kennels you'll see.) These rooms provide a private place for your dog to rest for a nap twice a day, and overnight after a full day of play. You have the option to bring your own bed (which we will wash for you at the end of the stay) or we can provide one for you at the cost of $5. All boarding must be booked in advance either online through the Gingr portal once you've registered, or by phone. All you need to bring in with you is your dog food (we request you bring extra in the event that you're dog ends up needing to stay longer) as well as a bed if you want.
Our boarding guests also enjoy the privilege of playing in the open dog run all day with the daycare dogs for no extra charge! We also offer dog walking services for our boarding dogs. So if your dog is with us for a longer stay and you feel they could use some one-on-one walking time we offer half hour walks in the large open green area across the street from our hotel.
We highly recommend you also consider adding a bath service to your dog's stay. This way after a fun-filled vacation consisting of romping around with multiple other dogs, they will go home smelling nice and fresh!
For your dog's overnight safety, we have a high tech security system which monitors the facility with security cameras, a burglar alarm, heat sensors, smoke detectors, water sensors, and carbon monoxide detectors. If any of these alarms are triggered the authorities are dispatched and management of the facility is contacted immediately. We are also located just steps away from the Edmonton South Animal Hospital in the event of any health issues or emergencies, we're happy to transport your pup over to them for you if your emergency contact is not available.
Also, feel free to check in with us anytime during your pup's stay to see how they are doing, we are always more than happy to give updates. All boarding dogs must have an assessment (please refer to the "Assessments" section) and provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations and flea/tick/lice treatment prior to the date of their stay. All dogs must be spayed or neutered if older than 8 months of age, no exceptions! To register please visit our homepage, under the main screen picture it says create an account online to log in or register, please register as a new customer fill out a page of your, a page of your pups info and sign the waiver under agreements. Once complete you will be able to book an appointment and choose the assessment date and time that works for you.
** If you have multiple dogs, they must be able to eat together to be able to share a room. If you're dogs cannot eat together- you must book a room for each dog seperately.**
** If your dog eats raw food- you must bring the food in with each meal separated into zip lock bags in advance.**
** No dropping off or picking up of dogs between the hours of 11am-1pm (Monday- Saturday) and 11am-2pm on Sundays due to nap time**
**We require a credit card number for all boarding bookings, and a minimum of 48 hrs notice for any cancellations.
** We are only accepting customers for christmas boarding who have previously been assessed**
**Attention new customers: We are not accepting assessment requests for anyone needing boarding in the months of July/August. You must already be an existing customer and have already had your dog assessed to be able to book any dates in those two months, as we are already nearly full. Sorry for the inconvenience!
